Medicine is a marathon that started long before the white coat.
It started in the library at midnight. In the sacrifices nobody saw. In the version of you who decided, years ago, that this was worth everything.
And whether you’re in the trenches clinically, serving outside the clinic, or chasing a different dream entirely, the drive of a doctor never leaves you.
That drive is a gift. It’s also why rest can’t be optional.
We don’t rest because we’re done. We rest so we can keep going. So we can keep building the impact we came here to make.
Rest is part of the work.
Stress isn't one-size-fits-all. Neither is the fix.
Two physicians can work the same shift and carry it completely differently. The DistressRx™ Stress Type assessment shows you how your stress tends to show up, so the support you choose actually fits.
It's the same starting point we use with individual physicians, coaching cohorts, and health systems.
Ten years ago, I didn't think private coaching for every physician was possible. Now we have early data.
In an eight-week open pilot, 651 physicians enrolled and 472 used OnCall For You across 1,216 coaching sessions.
- of sessions ended with lower self-reported stress
- 84%
- average stress on a 10-point scale, start to end of a session
- 5.3 → 2.5
- of sessions happened before 9 a.m. or after 6 p.m. Eastern
- 47%
Source: OnCall For You open pilot, July 22 to September 14, 2026. Results are self-reported with no control group, and participants were predominantly women. Findings reflect immediate in-session changes and do not show lasting reductions in stress or burnout.
