Hi friend.
I want to tell you about a Tuesday night a few years ago.
I had just finished a shift in the NICU. I was sitting in my car in the hospital parking lot with the engine off, hands on the wheel, trying to remember the last full breath I'd taken.
It had been a hard afternoon. A 26-weeker who'd scared all of us. A handoff that took longer than it should have. The nanny doing bedtime again because Mark was tied up at work, too. A daughter who'd asked me that morning when I was going to be home for dinner and I'd said soon — the word I used so often it had stopped meaning anything.
My chest was tight. My jaw was locked. I could feel my pulse in my eyelids — which, if you've ever felt it, you know is its own kind of warning shot.
I almost didn't drive home.
Not because I couldn't. I'm a board-certified neonatologist. I have run codes at 3am on no sleep. I can do hard things.
I almost didn't drive home because I had no system for what was happening in my body in that moment.
I had information. I had credentials. I had every tool I now teach.
What I didn't have — in that car, in that parking lot — was the one thing I've spent the last several years building out for my own family and for the women in my world.
A repeatable, physiology-based way to take myself from that to functional in under ten minutes. Without bypassing what I was feeling. Without white-knuckling through it. Without a glass of wine at midnight to undo a day I should have been able to undo in the car.
I sat with it. I took the breath. I drove home.
But it took me years — and a complete rebuild of how I understand stress in the body — to turn that night into a framework I could hand to someone else.
Here's what I want you to know.
I'm announcing something in the next few days that I have been quietly building, testing on myself, testing on Mark, testing on my closest clients, for almost a year.
I'm not going to tell you what it is yet.
What I am going to tell you is this:
Sunday, May 31st. 8pm ET. Save the date.
I'm going live to teach you the exact framework that grew out of that night in the parking lot. The one that's now the spine of what I'm announcing this week.
It's free. It's not a webinar wrapped around a pitch. It's a teach.
One thing before you close this.
Hit reply and tell me your #1 stress trigger right now. The thing that, when it happens, you can feel your body change.
We read every reply. And I'm building Sunday's training around the patterns I see.
