The scenic hours are practice, not credit

The two scenic-cruising windows — Endicott Arm and the Inside Passage — are reserved for optional on-deck stillness. They carry no credit, by design, so the most beautiful hours of the sailing belong to you.

By the end of this program, physicians will be able to:
  • Describe the physiologic basis of the stress response and its role in burnout.
  • Apply nervous-system regulation techniques to their own clinical and personal practice.
  • Use objective recovery markers such as HRV to guide self-management.
  • Identify relational and systemic contributors to chronic stress load.
  • Build a sustainable, trauma-informed self-practice that protects against burnout.

The work, then the rest.

Sessions on the sea days and in each port. The scenic hours and the open afternoons are for everything we never get enough of.

Our connection
Our fun

The work is real and it is finished early. The deep days are the days at sea; the port sessions are short, with the Inside Passage and the open afternoons left for stillness, time ashore, and rest.

Enjoy.

Travel & recreation

The educational content of both the online and onboard activities is developed independently of the cruise line and of any travel or commercial sponsor. Travel, lodging, meals, and recreation are not part of the education and are arranged and paid for separately by each participant. The onboard scenic-cruising sessions are optional wellness practice and carry no credit.

A Note on Cost

This program includes continuing medical education completed aboard the ship. When continuing education takes place at sea, specific IRS rules for education on cruise ships can apply, and those rules carry meaningful limits and conditions.

Whether any portion of your costs is deductible depends on your own circumstances and the particulars of the sailing. The cruise itself is a personal trip, booked and paid for separately from the CME tuition.

This is general information, not tax advice. Talk to your own tax advisor about your situation.

Expected Cruise Fare
$2,500–$3,500 per person, for the week

We're negotiating directly with the cruise line to lock in the best possible rates and perks for our group. Based on where those negotiations stand, plan on roughly $2,500–$3,500 for your cruise fare for the week — and we're working to fold added extras into that.

This is a general idea of what you can expect to pay based on our negotiations, not a final quoted price. We're still working to lock in the extras.

Tuition & Cabins
$1,997

for the full 24-credit CME program — 12 credits online before you sail and 12 earned aboard, across two activities.

  • This is the CME tuition. It does not include cruise fare.
  • A discounted room block is being arranged for our group.
  • Once you enroll, we walk you through every step to book your cabin.
  • Every physician is welcome — women and men alike.
