Because the most important thing we can give our kids is the ability to handle life well.

More stress. More anxiety. More overwhelm.
More pressure. More comparison. More screens. More uncertainty. As moms, many of us are quietly wondering the same thing:
The truth is — we can't control everything our children will experience. But we can give them tools.
Tools for resilience. Emotional regulation. Confidence. Self-awareness. Healthy coping. Physical strength. Emotional strength. The kind of foundation that protects them when we can't.
I built the program I couldn't find for my own kids.
My husband Mark and I both chose pediatrics and child psychiatry for the same reason: to help children feel empowered, resilient, emotionally healthy, and confident from the inside out. From the beginning, our mission felt clear — don't just help kids after they're already struggling. Build the foundations that support them for life.
But we kept seeing a huge gap. Kids were rarely being taught the foundations of resilience early enough — emotional awareness, stress regulation, confidence, healthy coping, self-trust, mental and physical strength. Everywhere we looked, the focus was on repairing overwhelmed adults instead of intentionally helping children build resilience from the beginning.
I searched for a framework that integrated all of it together for kids and families. Nothing like it existed. So I built it myself — with Mark's clinical expertise in child psychiatry woven into every part of it.
As a mother, I would quietly cry thinking about the future.
I'd think about healthcare. Burnout. Emotional exhaustion. How overwhelmed so many adults already feel. "What will life look like for our children twenty years from now?"
And then my thoughts would go deeper. "What if one day my daughters experience postpartum depression — and don't have the tools to navigate it? What if they hit the same wall I hit, with nothing to fall back on?"
I didn't want my children to have to suffer deeply first in order to finally learn resilience later. I wanted them to build those tools now — through movement, confidence, healthier coping, emotional awareness, and resilience built little by little over time.
That's what The Fit Kid Program™ became for our family. A foundation. A protection layer. The thing I would have given my own younger self if I'd known how.
Six pillars. One year. One foundation.
Movement, mindset, mindfulness, nutrition, regulation — integrated, sequenced, and designed to fit inside a real family's life.
52 Weeks of Strength Training
Fun, safe, easily accessible. No equipment required. No workout repeats. I lead the entire program — accessed from our app or any desktop computer. Kids actually want to do these workouts.
Built-In Mindset Coaching
The coaching happens while we work out together. This is the key with kids — short, effective resilience-building topics taught during movement, when their attention is engaged and their nervous system is ready to absorb the work.
52-Week Kid Workbook
The kind of workbook your child will actually do. It prompts insight and self-discovery — a creation they make now and a tool they can return to forever.
Parent + Family Guides
Your own guide — with each week's topic and discussion prompts you can ask your child. For the silent moments when there's nothing to talk about and everyone reaches for a phone, the family guide gives you something better: a shared language.
Stress Regulation Program
Our top tool from the larger Stress Regulation work — given directly to your child in a kid-sized version. The skill they'll use intuitively, every day, for the rest of their lives.
Nutrition + Meditation
Yes, nutrition for kids — compassionate, intuitive, health-focused. And a 52-week meditation program that reinforces the same topics we cover in the workouts each week. Same lesson, multiple entry points.
